1. The Meeting was called to order by Moderator Frank Wood.

2. Rich Faranilla opened the meeting in prayer.

3. The minutes of the GIBF meeting at Eastland Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma was presented.

Baptist Times Report & Offering – David Lydick

6. Financial report given and thanks to those giving last year $17,560 was given.    Monthly support is still needed. Today offering goal is $16,000.  Some have    already sent in their commitments with a total on February 13, 2010 of $4,065.    Cards were distributed today, more commitments totaling $9,000. The grand total is 13,065.

Bro. Lydick was commended for the great job he has done.

7. Report by Missions Director – Dick Webster

  • 87% of the September, 2009 offering has come in. Bro. Wood stated the advisory board voted to retain Dick Webster as Missions Director for 5 more years.
  • Bro. Webster said the GIBM office facility has been rented and is in use. Over 1 million dollars came through the GIBM office last year
  • Bro. Webster said a house was given to him and the GIBM for missionaries to use while on deputation. Also, another had been made available for missionaries to    use while on deputation.
  • In September the GIBM missions offering will be received. There is a need for more monthly support for the GIBM mission office.

Bro. Frank Wood spoke raising an offering for the meeting expense of this meeting to help the West Gate Baptist Church. 22 churches promised $10,050.

8. College Report

Florida Baptist College – Bruce Turner – having a great year

Heartland Baptist Bible College – Sam Davison – great home missions program,    great year, looking forward to the May meeting. The chapel auditorium work    should start soon. Thanks for all the support.
